The energy bar is an invention of Native American Natural Foods, a company based on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. I was disheartened last week when there were disrespectful comments about the Tanka Bar by Regis Philbin & Kelly Ripa. Perhaps members of the Lakota nation should discuss this with them so that they would be more sensitive with their words in the future.
