Matthew McConnaughey Doesn't Miss Being Single
Matthew McConnaughey has traded in the single life for diaper duty, but he's loving every minute of his new found familial bliss. The actor spoke to In Touch about what it's like raising a baby and making house with beautiful Brazilian model Camilla Alves.
"I never felt I was in jail now and I certainly don't feel like I'm in jail now," he said. "Five years ago when I thought about having a child and a family, I didn't want to do it and live in Hollywood, or do it and be doing what I'm doing - acting. But I've completely turned that around."
McConnaughey says taking care of babies is easier than you might think, even the task of changing dirty diapers.
"It's a privilege," he said. "It's really not a hard task. I can do it less than five minutes."
Hanging out with son Levi has taught him a thing or two about babies.
"They're like rubber," said Matthew. "You don't have to be dainty with them. And they're usually happy once their diaper is clean."
McConnaughey also said that working in Hollywood is no tougher now that he's a family man.
"A film crew becomes a tribe," he said. "It's like the circus has come to town and now I get to bring my family along. For me, I'm really interested - it's going to make me a better actor."
