Elian Gonzalez joins the Communist Party

Elian Gonzalez is a young Cuban who was at the center of a fierce International custody battle. People in the U.S.A. were shocked when he chose Cuba over our beloved nation.

Now young Elian Gonzales has pledged his fidelity to Fidel Castro and has become a member of the Young Communist Union.

The Communist youth newspaper in Cuba, Juventud Rebelde, reports that Elian will never let down Fidel, or even his younger brother Raul Castro.

When Elian's mother died, it set off a battle between his father Juan Miguel Gonzalez and the Cuban community in Miami. In the end, Elian Gonzalez returned to Cuba with his father in 2000.
