Zac Efron, Emily Osment, Chris Brown, And Miranda Cosgrove On Rumors
When you're famous, rumors are a part of the game. But reading negative things about yourself is never easy. Recently BOP asked some of Hollywood's most promising young celebrities how they deal with the rumor mill.
Emily Osment: "I think it'd be funny to play along with rumors. The one about Mitchel Musso and me dating - we would have so much fun with that. Honestly, we would pretend and be like 'Oh, we've been dating for five months.' The truth is we are just friends."
Chris Brown: "My advice when you hear a rumor about yourself is to avoid it. Nine times out of ten it's probably a lie."
Zac Efron: "Rumors are always gonna be a part of acting - that's the dirty side. I just try to rise above it and live my life. I'm not going to complain, but it's something I'm learning to cope with."
Miranda Cosgrove: "Whenever I hear a mean rumor or something, I always talk to my best friend. She always knows what to say. So if you have a best friend, tell her about it! She will help you out."
Sage advice indeed from four young Hollywood pros.
