Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Take Breather After Jennifer Aniston Phone Call
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had it all. They're world famous actors who command tens of millions of dollars per picture. They're two of the most photographed people in the world. And they have six children that any parent would be proud to call their own.
But, despite their seeming success and happiness, trouble is lurking right below the surface. If a new report in Star is to be believed, the Hollywood power couple known as Brangelina might be on their last legs.
"They both decided they needed a breather," an insider told Star. "The problems between them have been building to the point that they just need some time apart. It's not healthy."
The trouble all started during the fateful alleged encounter between Brad Pitt and the nanny. Angelina Jolie found Pitt in her bedroom comforting the nanny, and went ballistic.
Ever since then, she's turned cold on the one-time man of her dreams. Now things are so bad, the two have been relegated to sleeping in separate bedrooms.
Now, Jennifer Aniston has even found her way into the picture in a disruptive way.
Jen was in Manhattan filming scenes for The Baster. Brad was also there, watching the children at the Waldorf Astoria, while Angelina filmed scenes for her new thriller Salt.
"Jen made two appointments at the hotel's Guerlain Spa, hoping she would run into Brad," an insider said. "Jen called Brad to say she was in New York and would love to see him. She wanted to talk to him about some things in her mind. Brad was only too happy to catch up."
When Angelina returned to the luxury suite after a tough day on set, Brad told her about his meeting with Jen.
Angelina was not happy, and turned her rage on Pitt.
"She yelled at him for half an hour," an insider said. "She walked out of the room and told Brad 'I can't even look at you right now."
Right now the two are said to be on a breather, but keeping the fact quiet so they won't alarm their six children.
