Victoria's Secret Sued Over Thong

Victoria's Secret is facing a lawsuit for a thong that malfunctioned.

Macrida Patterson has filed a lawsuit against Victoria's Secret after she allegedly sustained an injury while trying on a pair of their thong underwear.

The 54 year old plaintiff filed the case at the Los Angeles Superior Court, claiming that a metal embellishment flew off and struck her in the eye.

Patterson's lawyer says that a design flaw caused the accident to happen and that his client sustained damage to her cornea, causing her to miss a few days of work. The lawyer also stated that it resulted in a lifetime injury.

Victoria's Secret asked to inspect the dangerous garment, but the counsel declined to hand it over.

Macrida Patterson is seeking unspecified damages.
