Daniel Gabriel Watson charged with killing his wife Christina Mae Watson on their Honeymoon

Daniel Gabriel Watson has been charged with murdering his wife while on their Honeymoon in Australia. The couple was scuba diving off the Great Barrier Reef when Christina Mae Watson died. According to an Australian coronial inquiry, there is sufficient evidence to charge Daniel Gabriel Watson with her murder.

Police contend that Daniel Gabriel Watson was an experienced diver who turned off his wife's air supply. Watson's lawyer Steve Zillman say that his client had no motive to murder his wife of 11 days and he should be presumed innocent.

Watson is in the United States currently and will need to be extradited to Australia to stand trial.
