Remember the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith? That's the set where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie first met. Now they're real life relationship is mimicking the characters in that film.
That's right. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have gone to war!
The stress of having six children along with the demands of being international movies stars has finally gotten to Brad and Angie, causing a rift that insiders say could spell the end for Brangelina.
Somewhere Jennifer Aniston is smiling wryly and biding her time as the details of the latest fight between Pitt and Jolie become public.
Brad and Angie, who once regaled the world with details of their passion and love for each other, have barely slept in the same room since Jolie began filming Salt in New York City.
"They're going through some tough times," an insider close to the couple told In Touch. "When they first got together, Angie could do no wrong in Brad's eyes. But four years later, he no longer thinks she walks on water."
The trouble all started in earnest when Angelina, 33, was interested in adopting yet another baby, this time from Ethiopia.
Brad put his foot down, telling Angie no. You don't tell Angelina Jolie "No" as Brad quickly learned.
"Angelina was furious," the friend said. "She told Brad he had no right to tell her she can't add to her family and that she will adopt again - with or without his permission."
"[Brad thinks adding a seventh child] would be crazy," the friend continued. "He's told her he thinks life is hectic enough and that he doesn't want any more."
Jolie let Pitt know that she adopted before she met him, and would do so again, without or without his blessings.
Brad finally got angry with Angelina.
"[He told Angie that if she adopts without him] she's breaking the deal they made to make all big choices together - and he will leave."
Now the world waits to see what will be Brangelina's next move.
