Typhoon Fengshen hammers the Philippines, hundreds dead
Typhoon Fengshen has hit the Philippines, causing devastation to buildings and people. Entire communities have been submerged by high waters released by the storm.
Rains lasted for four hours, washing away everything in their path. High winds, rains, and landslides all have hammered the nation.
Rescue workers are currently looking for any survivors of a ferry which went down in rough waters carrying 740 passengers.
The "Princess of Stars" had 626 passengers and 121 crew on board when it ran aground a near the Sibuyan island yesterday as typhoon Fengshen hit.
