Tom Brokaw is the new moderator of "Meet the Press

Brian Williams has announced that Tom Brokaw will step in as moderator of "Meet the Press", replacing Tim Russert, who died unexpectedly on June 14th. 2008.

Brian Williams expressed his gratitude to Brokaw for taking over during troubled times for the show. "Meet the Press" is in its' busy season, since the show is generally pivotal in introducing Presidential candidates to the public. Tom Brokaw is 68 years old and will host the show through the Presidential Election.
