Future Of Britney Spears' Circus Tour Uncertain
Britney Spears has uncanny timing. After being the 'ringmaster' of her own personal Circus for years, her Circus tour could be cut short due to current economic conditions.
Spears, 27, is currently under her father Jamie's conservatorship and a recent court appearance unveiled
what could be the end of Britney's first concert tour in nearly 5 years.
"It hasn't yet been determined whether it's feasible to expand tours to the Europe or Australia legs," L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz said following a closed-door discussion with Jamie and his lawyers.
"That will be determined in the future after everyone's seen the analysis, in terms of the economy and value of the dollar." People reports.
Britney opened her Circus tour on her 27th birthday in New York and subsequent performances have fallen under scrutiny for her allegedly lip synching the lyrics, poor dance routines and her abandoning the stage for 30 minutes after the stage was inundated with smoke at a recent concert stop in Vancouver, BC.
Her next scheduled performances are April 16 and 17 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
