Tamara Hofmann Involved In Deadly Love Triangle
A love triangle involving Tamara Hofmann,a 48 year old Arizona math teacher, turned deadly when she was caught naked with an 18 year old student, Samuel Valdivia, by her 20 year old boyfriend, Sixto Balbuena.
Balbuena allegedly stabbed Valdivia in the side with a kitchen knife after kicking and punching him when he found Hofmann naked and Valdivia wearing only boxer shorts at Hofmann's home.
Sixto said he never meant to kill Valdivio, but the blade "went in like butter." The suspect called 911 on himself after feeling remorse for his actions.
Valdivia later died at an area hospital.
Balbuena was charged with second degree murder and Tamara Hofmann is being investigated for possible misconduct because of her relationship with a student.
