The filming of the Twilight sequel New Moon in Vancouver has taken a turn for the dramatic as a love triangle between Robert Pattinson, Nikki Reed, and Kristen Stewart has devolved into a cat fight. Two new reports this week highlight the drama surrounding Brit heartthrob Rob Pattinson and two of his pretty co-stars.

"The girls are competing for Rob's attention," a source told Star. "Kristen and Nikki both like him, and it's getting ugly. They're heading for a major showdown!"



New Moon love triangle threatens tranquility of set

It's easy to understand why Nikki Reed is feeling jilted. After Pattinson hooked up with her, he continued to flirt with other cast members. Reed and Pattinson hooked up on March 29, just before she flew back to Los Angeles. When she returned to the set on April 8, Robert was already making time with others.

"Rob's been flirting with everyone on set in front of Nikki, even though they've been sleeping together," an insider told Life and Style. "It's causing tension."

Robert has been spotted visiting both Nikki and Kristen in their hotel rooms. They're staying at The Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver while Robert is being kept in a secret undisclosed location to fend off the advances of stray females. But according to witnesses, he's spending the bulk of his time staying overnight in either Nikki Reed's or Kristen Stewart's room.

"He often arrives late and leaves early in the morning, so we all know he's hooking up with one of them," a witness told Star.

Based on the statements of several witnesses, Rob might very well be making time with both of the hot actresses.

"He charges coffee to a suite on the ninth floor, where Nikki has a room," said the witness. "He always looks like he just woke up."

But he also may be spending time with Nikki, who plays Rosalie Hale in New Moon.

"Rob was hitting the 12th floor, where Kristen is saying," said an excited insider.

All three of the New Moon actors spent time together at Kristen's 19th birthday party.

"Rob was literally sandwiched between the two girls," said a source who attended the April 9 event at Chill Winston.

Even though Kristen, who plays true romantic Bella Swan in the Twilight franchise, has stated she's dating Michael Angarano, the witness said she "was acting like a single girl since Michael was nowhere in sight."

Even though Kristen had the early lead that night, Nikki Reed wasn't to be counted out.

"She rushed out and squeezed into the cab he was taking so Kristen couldn't fit."

Robert Pattinson, who once said he became an actor to meet girls, has found that playing the role of Edward Cullen has greatly enhanced his amorous opportunities.

And it's not only his main costars who get his attention. The world is his oyster, and he's always looking for another pearl. Even set extras are potential partners.

"Every day, he would survey them to see who caught his eye, but mostly they came to him," an insider told Star. "Whenever he wasn't at lunch, we figured he was off with an extra somewhere."

For Robert Pattinson, the set of New Moon is a smorgasbord of potential lovers and he's doing his best to please them all.
