I've always considered Rosie O'Donnell to be sort of a "gimmick". She's a fat, man-looking Lesbian with a loud mouth and a poor grasp of most basic issues. This has endeared her to a nation of intellectually underfed idiots, but it hasn't done a damn thing to convince most people, like myself, that she knows much about the issues she constantly opines about.

The party's over for Hasselbeck and O'Donnell
Rosie reminds me of a lot of the slobs I've worked with over the years
When you're at your job, you need to remain positive and professional. After all, you and your workmates are all on the same team. You work for the same company and should have the same goals. If you have a disagreement with someone, you don't ever let it get heated or personal, because it's just business.
But with Rosie O'Donnell, there is no seperation between work and personal life. She kept badgering Elizabeth to side with her on a political issue that was well outside of the bounds of "The View". Their fight was not the type of thing that any boss would like to see, and I'm sure there's relief all around that she's gone.
Ironically, it was a difference of viewpoints that broke up the ladies of "The View"
Now that Rosie has officially left, her 8 month career on the show can be assessed. I say she failed because of her divisiveness.
"Who Are The Terrorists?" Indeed
The true terrorists of this world are the overbearing and insipid entertainers who make up the greater portion of our television personalities. People who shout others down when they're expressing a genuine difference of opinion. Terrorists, in many ways, are people just like Rosie O'Donnell.
