Mike Tyson Understands Chris Brown
Mike Tyson, the 42 year old boxer that has had his own share of legal problems with women, including a rape conviction and accusations that he beat his former wife, Robin Givens, is a little more forgiving of Chris Brown than others.
Brown is accused of attacking and making criminal threats against his former girlfriend, pop singer Rihanna.
Tyson told MTV news, "It's none of my business, but you know what I say about that? I understand the situation. I understand passion with young kids."
"My personal opinion about that is, he's just a baby. He's just a little baby that don't know how to handle his emotions when it comes to a woman. And he probably hears this and thinks, 'I know how to handle my emotions'; we all think we do. But the fact [is], you look at this person and you might be crazy in love, but we don't know how to handle those feelings."
Chris Brown, 19, allegedly struck Rihanna while they were driving to the 51st annual Grammy Award Show on February 8, 2009. Both Brown and Rihanna canceled their appearances scheduled that evening.
After news of the alleged attack was reported by the media, a number of radio stations refused to play Brown's music.
Brown's next court appearance in the case is scheduled for April 29. He's plead 'not guilty' to felony charges of assault and making criminal threats.
