Aribert Heim Alive
Aribert Heim, also known as Dr. Death is believed to be alive and in hiding.
Efraim Zuroff says that new evidence leads him to believe that Aribert Heim, known as Dr. Death from the Nazi regime is alive and living with his daughter in Patagonia.

Heim was responsible for killing and torturing Jews at the first Nazi concentration camp at Mauthausen in upper Austria during World War II. He performed surgeries and amputations without the use of anesthetics to see how much pain his victims could endure.
Heim fled Germany in 1962 and was never arrested for his crimes.
Heim has had his age adjusted photos published a number of times in Chilean and Argentinean newspapers to keep the search for him ongoing.
Mr Zuroff, the director of Israel's Simon Wiesenthal Centre said "In the last few days we've received information from two different sources, both relating to Chile, which we think have very good potential. The reason we are going [to Patagonia]... is of course the fact that Heim's daughter lives in Puerto Montt, and we think there is a strong likelihood that he might be in that area or in the area between Puerto Montt and Bariloche [Argentina]."
The Governments of Austria, Germany and the Simon Wiesenthal Centre are offering a $495,000 reward for information leading to Heim's arrest.
Heim is believed to be alive because he still has over 1 million dollars in a German bank account that his family hasn't tried to access. In order to do so, they would have to prove that he was legally dead.
The search for Aribert Heim continues.
