Abby Sacunas

Abby Sacunas not interested in being a "hot attorney"

Abby Sacunas is an attorney who works for Cozen O'Connor in Philadelphia. She was recently included on a website that advertised "hot attorneys". Abby does not care for such a designation.

"It's demeaning and sexist," said Abby L. Sacunas to The National Law Journal. "I think we should sue them."

Abby was particularly galled that the "Hot Attorney" website, which has already been pulled by its' authors, ranked first for her name in Google.

A message appears where the website used to be

Taking a look at Abby's resume, it's not hard to see why she'd be upset at such a trivialization of her skills. As it says on her bio page, "Abby earned her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 2005), where she was a member of the Syracuse Law Review and earned a Corporate Counsel Certificate from the Center for Law and Business Enterprise."

Basically this sounds like a dumb idea that made it a bit too far with the help of the powerful Google search engine. The "Hot Attorney" webmasters appear to have slithered into the darkness in light of potential litigation from a group of good looking and highly skilled attorneys.
