SAN FRANCISCO, April 30 (UPI) --
Bengie Molina drove in four runs and finished a double short of the cycle Wednesday, boosting San Francisco to a 9-4 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Los Angeles wrapped up a nine-game road trip by falling victim to a 15-hit attack that featured a persistent assault by Molina.
The Dodgers are now scheduled to play 11 straight games at home, where they have not lost in six outings this season.
Molina tripled in two runs in the first inning, hit a solo homer in the seventh and delivered an RBI single in the eighth. Edgar Renteria also singled in a run in the second and doubled home another in the sixth.
Tim Lincecum (2-1) coasted to the victory, carrying a shutout into the eighth and eventually giving up three runs on six hits over seven-plus innings.
Eric Stults (2-1) was battered for five runs on seven hits in just 2 2/3 innings.
