Olivia Newton John And John Easterling Wed

Olivia Newton John and John Easterling have gotten married.

Olivia Newton John has moved forward with her life and married John Easterling in a secret ceremony that took place on Jupiter Island, Florida on June 30, 2008.

Prior to their Florida wedding, Newton John and Easterling were married in a spiritual Incan ceremony held on a mountaintop outside of Peru on June 21, 2008. There were no friends or guests present. The Florida wedding was to make their union legal in the United States.

Olivia Newton John dated Patrick McDermott for nine years, but she gave up hope for the relationship two years after McDermott mysteriously disappeared. He went on a fishing trip in San Pedro in 2005 and never returned.

Newton John met John Easterling, 49, an entrepreneur and environmental activist 15 years ago through mutual friends, but they didn't start dating until last year. He owns the Amazon Herb Company.

The couple announced their marriage to friends and family at a 4th of July celebration held at her Malibu home. For a moment, they almost canceled the party due to a burning wildfire in the area but they decided to forge ahead with the party.

This is Olivia Newton John's second marriage, she is 59.
