Brett Favre wants out of Green Pay
Brett Favre is synonymous with the Green Bay Packers football team, but all of that will soon change if the Quarterback has his way. Favre is making his intentions clear, he wants out of Green Bay, asking the team to grant him an "unconditional release."

Brett Favre retired from the Green Bay Packers on March 6th 2008 when he called an emotional press conference to say goodbye to the team. The Packers accepted his decision, and don't appear to be interested in taking him back.
"The finality of his decision to retire was accepted by the organization," the club said in a statement. "At that point, the Green Bay Packers made the commitment to move forward with our football team. . . .
"As with all Packers greats, Brett's legacy will always be celebrated by our fans and the organization, regardless of any change in his personal intentions."
Favre will likely have no problem signing on with another NFL team. He threw for 4,155 yards last year and has started in 275 consecutive games in his career.
