Cleveland Browns To Win

The Cleveland Browns are predicted to win the AFC North

It's been years, ok I mean decades, since the Cleveland Browns have been predicted to win anything. But after a strong performance last season, opinions of the logo-less orange clad team are slowly turning bullish.

The spirit of Jim Brown lives on

Lindy's and Pro Football Weekly have both picked the Brownies to lead the way in the AFC North. Of course such predictions are essentially worthless, but it's great news to anyone who happens to be a Browns fans. After watching inept Butch Davis screw the proverbial pooch for years, the new Romeo Crennel coached team appears poised to make people remember just what a good team the Cleveland Browns used to be.

There are two great reasons to be optimistic as a Browns fan. Their names are Corey Williams and Shaun Rogers, and they're here to pump up a defense that has watched running backs glide by them as they lay on the ground baffled. Not only should they help against the run, but they should implement the first real pressure on a quarterback since the salad days of the 1980s.

The Cleveland Browns Era just may be upon us. Praise God! (or your personal entity).
