Xbox Live Update September 29 - Xbox Live Still Down

Xbox Live is down and being upgraded. This is a situation that is undoubtedly unwelcome to millions of gamers. The explanation seems plausible enough.

As we gear up to bring you the New Xbox Experience, Xbox LIVE and the Xbox LIVE page on Xbox.com will be down for 24 hours, beginning on September 29, 2008 from 12:01 AM PST until 11:59 PM PST. During this time you will not be able to access Xbox LIVE.

The system is down as Microsoft readies the New Xbox Experience (NBE) for gamers.

Although the upgrade is supposed to be over, some people are still getting the same message. Hopefully this will be resolved quickly so people can get on with their virtual lives.
