LONDON, May 22 (UPI) --
Amy Winehouse's management has announced the cancellation of the British soul singer's scheduled May 31 gig in London.
Winehouse, who has been battling an addiction to drugs, as well as suffering from various health issues, hasn't performed a full concert in months.
The Grammy Award winner was booked to sing at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival about two weeks ago, but her set was cut short due to heavy rain and technical glitches. She also reportedly appeared to forget the words to her songs and told the crowd she was bored.
TMZ said her management issued a statement Friday canceling what has been described as her comeback show at the Shepherd's Bush Empire in London.
The entertainment news Web site said the statement apologized to ticket-holders for the event being scrapped.
