Although Demi Lovato is making her name as an actress and musician, things weren't always easy for her.

The star of Camp Rock tells Ellen DeGeneres that she was bullied as a seventh grader and that she wants to help other young
girls that are harassed by their peers. Lovato pulled out of classes and went the route of homeschooling to curtail the jokes and prods
of her classmates.

Demi told Ellen, "I never really understood why (I was being bullied) until looking back. I had a different lifestyle then everyone else. I want to
help with bullying, because there are girls who can't just up and home-school and focus on their career."
