Nate Miles has been expelled from UConn. The news came after a school administrative meeting which listened to allegations that Nate Miles had abused a female student. The decision to expel him from school ends his basketball career before he ever took the court.

The athletic department did not comment on news that Miles has been expelled.

Miles has five days to appeal the decision, and his legal guardian, Sean Patterson , says he'll do just that.

"If there was 1 percent of doubt in my mind that Nate was guilty of assaulting a female, I wouldn't have any objection," said Patterson, noting he has two daughters. "In my mind, he was railroaded today. It's unfortunate for everyone involved."
