Are they or aren't they is the question that has been haunting fans of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Have the two actors who have captured the imagination of millions by playing lovers Edward Cullen and Bella Swan replicated their on-screen love into a full blown off-screen affair? Life and Style says the two may have definitely crossed the line into romance and that move won't sit well with their castmates.

Co-star Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in New Moon told the tabloid that she can understand how romance between two co-stars can start.

"I get little crushes on a lot of people who I work with," she said. "You have to make yourself believe there's something about them that you love."

The trouble is, once the spark ignites, it can often turn into a raging inferno that engulfs everyone!

"You can't really control it," said Ashley. "If there's someone you've got this crazy chemistry with, then what are you going to do?"

The trouble with a relationship between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart is the potential fallout of a nasty breakup. If the two become romantically involved, then end up hating each other's guts, it's bound to affect their on-screen chemistry. If that happens, movie-goers won't be happy and the huge expectations for the sequels won't be met. That's why co-stars of Stewart and Rob Pattinson are leary of a potential love affair between them.

"I'm not sure their relationship is going to go anywhere," said a New Moon insider. "And everyone's worried about how it will affect their chemistry."

Even Ashley Greene says the affect could be negative.

"It's kind of the most important part about the movies," she said. "People are just so enamored with the connection they portray on-screen. If they failed to do that in the second and third ones, I think we'd be in trouble."

Therefore Ashley thinks it's not the best idea in the world that two co-workers on the set of one of Hollywood's most in demand movie series get involved romantically.

"It's not really smart to date a co-star while you're working," she said. "It's a risky situation. It's hard to separate fantasy from reality."
