Melvina Strickland-Terry, 35, has been indicted on charges of charges of sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child, and improper relationship between educator and student, according to the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office.
Melvina Strickland-Terry is in Brazoria County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
She's been accused of having sex with two boys who were both under the age of 17 and were students of hers at the time of the alleged improper incident.
Melvina Strickland-Terry could be sentenced to as much as twenty years if convicted on all counts. Every count is a felony.
As soon as the allegations arose, Strickland-Terry quit her job at Willowridge High School
According to reports from the Sheriff's Department, the contact with the students occurred at her apartment.
This indictment was handed down by a grand jury in Brazoria County.
