John McCain hints at Tim Pawlenty as V.P.
John McCain has been ignored this week as the Barack Obama World Tour has taken center stage in the Middle East. So now might be a good time to name his Vice Presidential running mate. Some reports indicate that McCain strongly hinted at Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty.

McCain was at a private meeting New Hampshire, when he told a group of supporters that they would "like Pawlenty." Witnesses said the comment caught them off guard because it was out of the blue.
Up until this point, McCain's short list has been Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, Florida Governor Charlie Crist and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal. What made Pawlenty jump ahead in the order is unknown at this point.
McCain is scheduled to meet with Pawlenty today. Whether or not it's too announce him as his running mate remains to be seen.
