Sherri Shepherd of "The View" took time to explain away some comments she recently made during an interview with "Precious Times", a Christian Women's periodical.

Sherri had said "I've had more abortions than I can count." On Today's show (below), she didn't change the number of abortions she's had, but she sought to make it clear she wasn't trying to be flippant about a subject that's so serious to many people, especially Christians.

Sherri also took a moment to apologize to Barbara Walters who she also joked about during the interview. It looks Sherri did her own spin control when she saw the harsh reality of her words in text.

Lately "The View" has had its' share of collisions that end up with the people involved kissing each other's asses and moving on. Too bad that doesn't happen for all of us at our jobs.
