Marriages can be difficult, especially if you're a celebrity. Hectic schedules and time apart are often to blame for the meltdown of many once happy unions. According to reports at Star Magazine the latest celebrity couple having marital problems is Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have been married for 11 years, but Broderick was recently reported to be involved in an extramarital affair with a 25 year old read headed youth counselor that he met at a bar. The purported relationship started with text messages and lead to passion at a showbiz friend's Manhattan townhouse.

An insider said that the young woman tried to end the relationship, but when it didn't happen she and Broderick spent a number of late nights together at the friends apartment while SJP filmed the movie Sex and The City.

A source also stated that after one night of hard drinking the redhead dragged Matthew into the bedroom and shut the door. When he emerged a half an hour later he mumbled 'Well... 'bye!' and left. The source also stated that she found her friend passed out and wearing only panties upon his departure.

Until now Broderick and Parker seemed like a relatively happy couple, you never heard tales of DUI's, arrests or other types of drama. Perhaps all the years of obscurity finally got to Broderick and he had to make some news for himself and destroy his marriage in the wake of it.
