Neel Kashkari
Neel Kashkari is in the news today because he's been picked to run the $700 billion bailout of the U.S. economy. One thing about U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, he really is a big fan of Goldman Sachs. Therefore it should come as no surprise that he has chosen a Goldman Sachs alum to head up the bailout his office is entrusted with.

Kashkari's official title will be interim head of the Office of Financial Stability. Neel Kashkari has worked with the treasury department since 2006. Kashkari was instrumental in designing the $700 billion bailout package, so it's obvious he thinks it's going to work.

Kashkari is a former resident of Stow, Ohio and was once a Vice President at Goldman Sachs.

It's not known whether Kashkari's nickname is "cash'n'carry", but it certainly could be.
