Barry Bonds A Yankee - Not Bloody Likely
Barry Bonds and his 762 career home runs are not likely to be playing with the New York Yankees any time soon, say leading experts. Hank Steinbrenner admitted that the Yanks have had discussions about bringing the 44 year old to New York.

Even though his name came up, making a move towards signing him is still "highly, highly, highly unlikely."
Jeff Borris, who is Bond's agent, says his client has not received any offers.
In attendance at the special Yankees meeting were Hank Steinbrenner, along with his brother Hal Steinbrenner, team president Randy Levine, general manager Brian Cashman, special adviser Gene Michael and senior vice president of baseball operations Mark Newman. At the meeting they discussed the names of any player who could help the team win baseball games.
