England in their second innings were 102 for five, still needing 137 more runs to make Australia bat again, at lunch on the fifth and final day of the first Ashes Test at Sophia Gardens here on Sunday.

Paul Collingwood was 35 not out and Andrew Flintoff 11 not out.

This is the first of a five-Test series.
