Paris Bennett Has Baby Girl

Paris Bennett has given birth to a baby girl. The former American Idol contestant gave birth to a 5-pound, 15 ounce daughter on Monday. This is the first baby for Bennett, who is reported to be "doing well."

"Man, does she have lungs on her. I guess she's gearing up to be the next American Idol," said Bennett about her daughter, who she named Egypt.

Although Bennett didn't win American Idol, it hasn't stopped her recording career. She'll be releasing a Christmas CD, entitled "A Royal Christmas" on October 14th 2008.
