Chicago police were searching for two teenage boys who allegedly beat an amputee and stole his prosthetic legs, authorities said Tuesday.

The man told police the suspects broke into his South Side home, beat him and removed the prosthetic legs from his body, the Chicago Sun-Times News Group reported Tuesday.
