Paul McCartney Letterman
NEW YORK, NY., Jul.16 (TOTI) --


Former Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney, made his first appearance on the David Letterman show last night.

Paul McCartney returned to the Ed Sullivan theater 45 years after he and his bandmates first performed there in 1964.

Paul McCartney wasn't shy and admitted that 'he didn't like the show' and discussed the band and his his feelings about performing live at the young age of 22.



The Beatles partnership was officially dissolved in 1975. In 1980, lead vocalist John Lennon was shot and killed in New York City. Guitarist, George Harrison passed away in 2001 after being diagnosed with cancer. Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney are the only surviving Beatles.
