It was a love story that had New Yorkers and the internet hooked. A 21 year old NYC web designer named Patrick Moberg spotted what he thought was the woman of his dreams one day while riding the subway.

Patrick had no way of finding the woman, so he quickly sketched a picture of her and put up a website.

Remarkably enough, this is all it took to get people to help find the girl. Within 48 hours his plight had gone viral and he ended up meeting the girl of his dreams, who turned out be Camille Hayton.

The two found each other and became an international sensation, hitting the talk show circuit to talk about their unlikely romance.

Alas, as is so often the case with love at first sight, the infatuation went south on the second, third, and beyond glances.

"I say we dated for a while but now we're just friends," Hayton, now 23, told the Sunday Telegraph. "It's really nice that people embraced the story. It is part of my life now."
