ORLANDO, Fla., July 17 (UPI) --
Walt Disney World in Florida had its second transportation accident in less than two weeks when two tour buses collided.
The crash occurred Wednesday afternoon and involved buses carrying tourists from the Magic Kingdom to two resorts, the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel reported. The buses were on Disney property, a road named World Drive.
Sgt. Kim Miller, a spokeswoman for the Florida Highway Patrol, said one bus was stopped at a bottleneck where a road goes from three lanes to two, and the other bus struck it in the rear. At least 12 people suffered injuries serious enough to be taken to hospitals, although Miller said all injuries were minor.
A Disney employee, Austin Wuennenberg, was killed earlier this month when two monorails crashed. He was piloting a train when another one backed into him.
