Australia set world record 522 to win second Test
LONDON (AFP) --
Australia were set a world record 522 to win the second Ashes Test here at Lord's on Sunday after England declared their second innings on 311 for six shortly before play began on the fourth day.
Andrew Flintoff was 30 not out and Stuart Broad nought not out.
Australia now have to set a new world record for the highest fourth innings total to win a Test, surpassing the 418 for seven made by the West Indies against them in Antigua in 2002/03, if they are to go 1-0 up in the series.
England have not won a Test against Australia at Lord's for 75 years.
