The banks of Britain are being bailed out, but it won't be without cost to the average U.K. consumer. Details have emerged concerning a new bank bailout by Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling. The cost of the plan is estimated to be £500 Billion pounds, the equivalent of sending a bill to every man, woman, and child in Britain for £16,000.

So far the Chancellor of Britain has already nationalized many of the country's largest banks. Now, he's admitting that even this half a trillion pounds might not be enough.

As the days go on, the stench from this global fiscal crisis reaches the Heavens, as trillions of dollars worldwide seemingly disappear. Now with the governments of nations throwing "good money" after bad, one can only guess if the measures will even be enough.
