Canadian Open postponed until Monday

OAKVILLE, Ontario, July 26 (UPI) --

The Canadian Open was disrupted by rain for the fourth straight day and tournament officials said play would resume at 7:30 a.m. Monday.

It was possible the event at the Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario, could be shortened to 54 holes, officials said.

No player had completed more than 14 holes in the third round before play was halted Sunday.

Jason Dufner held the lead at 14-under-par.

Anthony Kim and Jerry Kelly were 13-under.

Retief Goosen, Michael Letzig, Bob Estes, Scott Verplant and Peter Tomasulo were 12-under.
