Miley Cyrus has earned fame and fortune as the lead character in "Hannah Montana". But that doesn't mean the teenager plans on doing the role forever. In fact, a new report from E! indicates Miley might be nearing the end of her lucrative job as Hannah.
"We're thinking this is our last season," Cyrus told E!
Miley has been involved with Hannah Montana since she was 11. In recent weeks she dropper her first album as Miley Cyrus, called Breakout. The signs are she's distancing herself from her popular alter ego.

"I just think we did a lot of episodes," she says. "We basically did two seasons in one last year. Usually people would do one season that would be, like, 16 episodes, and we did almost 30 episodes!"
Miley might be thinking of leaving Hannah Montana, but it doesn't mean that Disney is planning on saying goodbye to the huge profit-maker.
"Miley said it best when she said she's delighted to be part of the Disney family," a Disney rep told E! in an email. "We start production on the third season of Hannah Montana on August 4 and have an option for a fourth season beyond that. We look forward to the Hannah Montana feature film coming to a theatre near you in Spring 2009."
