Monster Of Montauk

A strange creature has shown up in the Hamptons, according to Gawker, and it's caused quite a stir. The dead animal washed up on shore and it surprised the locals, who have never seen anything like it.

There's no question, the thing is strange and ugly.

Of course a mystery animal like this is bound to create its' share of controversy. Some claim it's merely a trick done by Photoshop. Others claim they've actually seen the beast. The folks at Gawker have merely said it was sent in by a tipster. The tipster, oddly enough, works for a viral marketing firm.

Odd creatures like this one, the Lock Ness monster, and even lovable Sasquatch have fascinated the public for years. But in the age of digital photography and slick graphic artists, one has to question the veracity of such claims. Whatever killed the Monster of Montauk must have been one formidable foe.
