WASILLA, Ala., Aug. 1 (UPI) --
Reports of marital problems between former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her husband are false, representatives for the family said Saturday.
"The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family ... ," Sarah Palin's spokeswoman, Meg Stapleton, wrote on Palin's Facebook page. Family attorneys also denied the rumors.
The Web site AlaskaReport cited "multiple sources in Wasilla and Anchorage" when they reported the Palin's are near divorce.
The Immorality Report blog claims it received "the explosive new information" from a close source, CBS News reported.
Stapleton slammed "so-called journalists" on Facebook, saying "we appreciate that the more professional journalists decided to question this story before repeating it."
Sarah Palin denied media reports she has bought land in Montana. She also denied she and her husband, Todd, were not speaking July 26 when she formally resigned as governor.
