Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Still Soulmates
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are no strangers to rumors about the imminent demise of their relationship. Tabloids have been reporting for months about how Pitt and Jolie are heading to Splitsville.
Not so, says Pitt, in a new interview with Parade.
"I have a love in my life, a soulmate -- absolutely," said the 46 year old actor.
No matter whether Pitt and Jolie are soulmates or not, Pitt has no intention of putting a wedding ring on Jolie's finger.
"When someone asked me why Angie and I don't get married, I replied, 'Maybe we'll get married when it's legal for everyone else.' I stand by that, although I took a lot of flak for saying it -- hate mail from religious groups," said Pitt. "I believe everyone should have the same rights."
In the far ranging interview, Pitt also talked about his upcoming movie, Inglorious Basterds, and denied any aspirations for a political career.
"I'm really enjoying my life right now. I don't know what the future is. I certainly don't have any political aspirations," he said. "Hopefully, I can get done what needs to be done by working with people who do have those aspirations."
So there you have it. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are staying together.
