John Edwards Hush Money To Mistress Alleged
The Enquirer alleges that John Edwards is paying $15,000 monthly in hush money to Rielle Hunter
John Edwards has been lying low for several weeks since a National Enquirer story about his alleged affair with Rielle Hunter emerged. Now, the money_to_mistress/celebrity/65226">National Enquirer is fanning the flames of controversy by alleging that Edwards has now paid $15,000 in "hush money" to Hunter.
The Enquirer has claimed that Rielle Hunter is not only the mistress of John Edwards, the former Senator from North Carolina, but is also the father of her "love child." The Enquirer first leveled the accusations against Edwards in November of 2007.

Now the periodical is going one step further, saying that Edwards pays $15,000 a month to Hunter as part of an elaborate plot to cover up their relationship and the paternity of the baby, a girl named 'Frances Quinn Hunter'.
"A super-rich pal, who was closely involved with the campaign finances, is helping John. It's likely this man doesn't know all the dirty details of John's extramarital affair, but is acting out of loyalty and is not asking a lot of questions, only writing the checks," according to a source.
