Andre Young Jr.’s Death Ruled Overdose
Andre Young Jr., the 20 year old son of Dr. Dre, died of an accidental overdose of heroin and morphine, according to the coroner.
Andre Jr. was found unresponsive in his bed by his mother, Jenita Porter, on the morning of August 23, 2008. Porter told officials that he went out with friends the night before and arrived home late. She said that she heard him snoring at around 5:30 AM, but emergency personnel were unable to revive him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have closed the case on Andre Jrs’ untimely death.
