Britney Spears Helping Benji Madden Get Over Paris Hilton
Rumor has it that Benji Madden has a new leading lady in his life after breaking up with heiress Paris Hilton last month.
…and that woman is Paris’ former BFF, Britney Spears.
A source told In Touch magazine that the pair began secretly dating after Brit’s manager, Larry Rudolph, set them up. He and Britney’s father Jamie compiled a list of available men after Britney complained of being lonely.
“Larry made some phone calls and Benji ended up being the most interested in being fixed up.”
Other men they chose as possible “wooers” for the Womanizer singer included Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, Chace Crawford and Jesse Metcalfe.
How will this affect her already cold relationship with Paris? Dr. Carol Disenhof, who doesn’t treat Benji, Paris or Britney, said “She’ll likely feel angry and competitive.”
Representatives for Britney and Benji didn’t confirm the relationship.
