Chere Rhodes – Girlfriend Of Max Baer Jr – Commits Suicide
Our condolences to the family, friends and associates of Chere Rhodes. The girlfriend of Max Baer Jr. has died of a self inflicted gunshot to the chest. She was 30 years old.
The Nevada Appeal reported that at about 1:15 PM on Thursday officers and EMS crews responded to a suicide attempt call at Max Baer’s home. Once they were on the scene Mr. Baer lead them to the bedroom where they found Ms. Rhodes with a single gunshot to the chest. She was still alive when paramedics arrived and she told them it was “an attempted suicide on her part.”
She received trauma care and passed when her family chose to take her off of life support.
Max Baer Jr. is 70 years old and is best known for his role as “Jethro” on the Beverly Hillbillies.
