Janet Jackson has kept quiet about the death of her brother, Michael Jackson, for five months. Now she can no longer hold her tongue. During a new interview with ABC, Jackson places the blame squarely on Dr. Conrad Murray.

“He was the one that was administering,” she told ABC’s Robin Roberts in an interview that will air this Wednesday night. “I think he is responsible.”

Murray is the subject of a manslaughter investigation that is ongoing.

“It’s been a tough year,” said Janet. “You have your days where it’s just really – it’s hard to believe. And a day doesn’t go by that I don’t think about him.”

Janet Jackson says she was completely shocked when she learned of her brother’s death.

“It just didn’t ring true to me. It felt like a dream,” she said. “It’s still so difficult for me to believe. It’s, you know, you have to accept what is. But it’s hard. You have to move on with your life. You have to accept what is and I understand that.”

Janet Jackson’s interview with Robin Robert, “In the Spotlight,” airs Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 10 p.m. EST.
